International Biometric Group Hosts Biometric Village at COMDEX Fall 2002

COMDEX, Las Vegas, NV - The International Biometric Group (IBG) has created a 900-square-foot "Biometric Village" at COMDEX in Las Vegas (November 18-22) to give biometric vendors the opportunity to have a presence at this exciting event. IBG has invited biometric vendors to participate free-of-charge in this unique exhibit opportunity.

IBG is pleased to announce that the following vendors will be exhibiting in the Biometric Village:

  • Bioscrypt
  • BioThentica
  • Biometric Security Card
  • DigitalPersona
  • Imagis
  • I/O Software
  • Iritech
  • IT Concepts
  • Secugen
  • Targus
  • TouchCredit

The Biometric Village offers integrators, media representatives and potential deployers of biometrics the opportunity to learn more about biometric technologies and their applications. Industry experts from IBG, as well as representatives from each vendor, will be available at the Biometric Village to answer questions about biometrics.

Biometrics are automated technologies that verify a person's identity based upon physiological or behavioral characteristics - such as fingerprinting, facial recognition, iris-scan, hand-geometry, voice authentication, keystroke dynamics, and signature verification.

The Biometric Village is located at Booth # 1154 in the main hall at COMDEX.
