International Biometric Group to Host Teleconference on the State of Voice Verification Technology

New York, NY—December 8, 2003—International Biometric Group (IBG) announces the twenty-first installment of its Biometric Business and Technology Teleconference series. Joseph Kim, a Consultant at IBG, will be leading a discussion about "The State of Voice Verification Technology."

IBG has seen growing interest in voice verification technology among large corporations, particularly in the financial sector, where voice-based telephony applications can offer clear opportunities to cut call center costs. International Biometric Group's "Biometric Market Report 2003-2007" projects that the use of voice verification technology will increase dramatically over the next four years, with annual voice verification revenues growing from $20.8 million in 2003 to $142.1 million in 2007.
