IBG Hosts Teleconference on Comparative Biometric Testing

New York, NY—September 8, 2003—International Biometric Group (IBG) announces the eighteenth installment of its Biometric Business and Technology Teleconference series. Trevor Prout, IBG's Director of Marketing, will be leading a discussion about IBG's Comparative Biometric Testing.

IBG's Comparative Biometric Testing is the industry's leading independent comparative biometric test effort. IBG's Comparative Biometric Testing provides critical data for major corporations and government agencies around the world planning large-scale biometric deployments or investments, particularly in applications such as border security, air travel, and enterprise security.

IBG has been conducting Comparative Biometric Testing since 1998. The testing emulates real-world operating conditions using live subjects, generating dozens of performance metrics, including false acceptance, false rejection, and failure to enroll rates.

The call will take place on Thursday, September 11 at 1:00 pm ET (10:00 am PT). There is no charge to join the call, which will last about an hour, and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.
